This year Alpha Sigma will be offering a salad bar dinner with desserts and drinks at meetings. Kudos to our September Hostesses for setting the "bar" this month! Great job!
Altruistic for September was in support of our State President's "Project Potential" donating items to the Transitional Living Program at CCYS in Tallahassee. Barbara Donaldson coordinated our efforts to collect bed sheets, towel sets, silverware sets and cash donations.
Issues in Florida Education
Linda Edson, the Leon Wakulla Retired Educators Association lobbyist at the Capital was guest speaker. Linda shared "issues in Florida education" that are on the legislative platform for January 2020.
